Greetings, Penguins!

Welcome back to the latest edition of Penguin of the Week!

This penguin is kind, friendly, humble, and always there when you need them. I may be biased on this one, but they also have a great taste in PC video games. 😉 This penguin’s always helping out and guiding those new, or those curious. You can always rely on this penguin for information, or even a laugh.

Congratulations, Ride! Your humble attitude, kindness, and sense of humor has secured you a shiny new Green Viking helmet, and a free 1,000 coins! Thanks for sticking by the island as always, and we hope to continue seeing you waddle around! Thanks for helping us make Penguin World such a special place for all.

Hey Penguins,

A week ago we hired two new penguins into our moderation team, Blanca 9 and venus.

The two new moderators, Blanca 9 and venus, waving

To formally congratulate them, we’re going to be hosting our very first official Moderator Meetup. In the meetup, you will be able to meet a bunch of members from the staff team as well as our two new moderators. Don’t forget to congratulate them if you haven’t already! While there will be staff members online, we hope to see lots of penguins too! You can also use this time to meet new buddies and play with your old buddies at the same time. Maybe you’ll have a chance to challenge a moderator in a minigame or two.

The meetup will begin on Wednesday, 27th November 2019 at 2:00 PM. This time is based in Penguin Standard Time, if you’re unsure what the time will be for you, check the Clock Tower in the Snow Forts and convert the time into your local time. The meetup will take place in Blizzard and we’ll start in the Ski Lodge. We would really appreciate it if you stuck around for a while!

We will also be holding a general meetup this weekend on Saturday, 30th November 2019 at 11:30 AM. This time is also based in Penguin Standard Time. This meetup will also be located in Blizzard and we will begin in the Coffee Shop.

Let us know in the comments which one(s) you would be able to make it to. Don’t forget to congratulate our two new moderators here too!

We look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible!
Waddle on.

Hello, penguins!

If you haven’t noticed already, the island has been getting more colder. This is because we’ve emerged into Winter. To celebrate, we’re throwing a Winter Party! Get comfy in your igloo and change up your usual fashion into really comfortable and warm wear in order to combat the cold! You may notice a few yetis appearing on the island, specifically in our lastest party attraction. If you see one, make sure to roar! We have also changed one of the rooms with the Winter Party which is the Stadium and have replaced it with an Ice Rink. As we have approached Winter, it’s better to change up the sports scenery with a more suitable sport for the season, Ice Hockey. Of course, this change does come with a brand new Snow and Sports catalog, so make sure to grab some skates!

Winter Part - Great snow Maze (Penguin World)

That’s not all! We’ve got more exciting things arriving, such as our main attraction, constructed by Rory exclusively for this party! We’re introducing the Great Snow Maze which is located in the Ski Village. You will need to locate your way through the maze in order to claim the hidden prize. If you think you’ve got the brains and you’re cool enough, try to complete the maze without the map…

Dive in and have some fun with your buddies now! Let us know how you find the party and comment below if you managed to complete the Great Snow Maze without the map! Don’t forget to check the latest newspaper for more updates on what’s to come.

Hope to see you on the island!
Waddle on.

Greetings, Penguins!

Welcome back to the latest edition of Penguin of the Week!

Community activity, some say it is key. But that wouldn’t make sense, because where’s the lock?

Never mind that, back to what I was saying.

This penguin takes community involvement to the next level. This penguin can often be found beak-first in a newspaper, which relates to a strange, but very popular service they offer: reading the newspaper to you. This is the future of penguin entertainment, folks!

Congratulations, Chomander123! Your positive attitude, dedication, and willingness to read, which is to be admired these days, has secured you a shiny new Green Viking helmet, and a free 1,000 coins! You can spend it on the… free newspaper. I guess I didn’t really think that one through, huh.

Another hilarious thing to be noted and respected about Chomander123, is quite mind-boggling:

They do not play Penguin World on a computer.

That’s right. They sled race, collect stamps, do missions, all on a mobile phone. Not a mouse or keyboard in sight.

Mind = blown.

So, how does one become Penguin of the Week? We look for penguins who help others around the island, report misbehaving penguins, and are active within the community. Oh, and don’t forget a sassy outfit!

Until next time, Penguins. Waddle on!

Greetings, Penguins!

Welcome back to the latest edition of Penguin of the Week!

This penguin is helpful, friendly, but most importantly, trusting. As a friend should be, loyal and understanding, this penguin is always down for a laugh but is always there when you need them. Oh, and this penguin has been around since before the island publicly opened. Now that’s awesome.

Congratulations, Blanca 9! Your great attitude and care for others has secured you a shiny new Green Viking helmet, all your own. 1,000 free coins too, of course. Thank you for sticking by our island and we hope to continue seeing you waddling around like always!

Until next time, Penguins. Waddle on!

Greetings, Penguins!

Welcome back to the latest edition of Penguin of the Week!

It’s been a long time coming. Hard work. Determination. Loyalty. These are words to describe this penguin. This penguin has resided on the island before thousands of others have. This penguin may have earned the most coins in the game. Even Scrooge McDuck is jealous. This penguin has displayed nothing but passion for Penguin World, so this week they shall be rewarded as intended.

Congratulations, Aurora! Your daily loyalty to Penguin World and its community has secured you a shiny new Green Viking helmet, that famous postcard, and 1,000 coins. (Although, 1,000 coins is nothing compared to the 950,000 you have now) Thanks for sticking by our snowy rock in the middle of the Arctic Ocean. We hope to continue seeing you around as we always do.

Greetings, Penguins!

Welcome back to the latest edition of Penguin of the Week!

A very special penguin is here to be rewarded, so let’s dive right into it! This penguin has been here since our humble beginnings, can always be seen participating in community events, hanging out with friends, and always available to help anyone who needs it.

Congratulations, Rhys! Your passion and presence during our game’s time so far is highly appreciated! Thanks for always being about the island, we’re glad to see you around. Your time and dedication to Penguin World does not go unnoticed, penguins. Oh, I forgot to mention something else! Besides being an active user, this penguin also makes some fine custom artwork that they have submitted to us.

I’d like to share a piece with you now:

This is a custom mascot background spoof of one of Rhys’ penguin characters, Blue, who is a very talented baker!
